Morning arrival. From Dorgali, tackle a technical and panoramic descent toward the wild, fertile Oddoene Valley, skirting Cannonau vineyards and dramatic limestone cliffs to the Flumineddu River bed.

Gourmet Stop (NOT INCLUDED / EXTRA): Stop at Dorgali Winery or a local producer for a glass of vintage Cannonau DOC, warm carasau bread with olive oil, and aged Sardinian pecorino cheese.
A full day dedicated to hiking along the river path into the jaws of Gorropu Gorge, one of Europe's deepest canyons with vertical limestone cliffs over 500 meters high.

An epic road and dirt traverse along the legendary SS125 "Orientale Sarda" road. Climb steadily through a lunar landscape up to Genna Silana Pass (1,017 m), followed by an unforgettable long panoramic descent to Baunei.

Shuttled to the Golgo basaltic plateau, follow the historic charcoal burners' path down Codula di Goloritzé, winding past ancient trees and rock arches to the white pebble beach below the iconic limestone needle spire.

A complete change of scenery. Glide silently across the emerald waters of the Cedrino River, encased in a basaltic volcanic canyon, paddling upstream to Su Gologone karst spring.
