Trabocco Route with Paranza Fishing Experience

The meeting point is at 5:30 PM in Punta Le Morge, Torino di Sangro, where this fascinating excursion along the stunning Costa dei Trabocchi begins. A scenic walk will lead you to one of the characteristic wooden trabocchi, symbols of Abruzzo’s maritime tradition. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and learn about the history and unique features of these ancient fishing structures. Once at the trabocco, you'll have the chance to watch a paranza fishing demonstration—a traditional technique using large nets cast into the sea. Local fishermen will show you the skilled movements involved and share stories and anecdotes from life at sea. After the demonstration, you’ll enjoy a tasting of typical seafood dishes prepared with fresh catch, following traditional local recipes—an immersion in the true flavors of Abruzzese coastal cuisine. Return is scheduled in the evening, after an unforgettable experience of culture, nature, and authentic taste.
