More information regarding the time and meeting point for the first/last day will be provided after the booking.
The meeting point is scheduled at 8:30 AM at the parking lot near the pine forest of Avezzano (AQ). After a briefing and e-bike handover, the group will set off at 9:00 AM for a route of about 40 km, alternating short paved and dirt sections, with a positive elevation gain of approximately 300 meters, suitable for everyone. Along the way, we will reach Celano, where we will visit the Cloister of Santa Maria Valleverde and its Crypt; shortly after, we will stop at the Fonte dei Miracoli to refill water bottles. We will then continue to Piccolomini Castle for a guided tour. At the end, those who have not booked lunch can arrange to return with our vehicles, with the activity concluding around 1:30 PM.
Those wishing to continue the day with us can enjoy a quick lunch at the “Crosta e Mollica” restaurant in Piazza Aia (please notify any dietary requirements). After coffee and a short break, we will resume the e-bikes and head to the panoramic terrace within the town (this is the only challenging part of the route, not suitable for bikes with child seats), from where you can enjoy a full view of the Fucino plain and the Marsica area. Finally, we will descend back to the center of Celano and return to Avezzano by e-bike, with the activity ending around 4:00 PM.

Travel Tour Overview
An e-bike excursion suitable for everyone, starting from Avezzano and following a mixed route, alternating paved roads with easy dirt paths. The itinerary leads to Celano, where you will visit historical sites such as the Cloister of Santa Maria Valleverde with its Crypt and the charming Fonte dei Miracoli. The day continues with a guided tour of the Piccolomini Castle, the town’s iconic landmark.
For those who wish to extend the experience, there is the opportunity to have lunch in a local restaurant and continue by e-bike to a panoramic terrace in the heart of the village, offering stunning views over the Fucino plain and the Marsica area. The tour ends with the return to Avezzano by e-bike.

Open to travelers aged 14 and over, with a minimum height of 1.55 m and a maximum weight of 110 kg. Minors can participate only if accompanied by a parent. An e-bike with a child seat (for ages 2-4, maximum weight 22 kg) is also available. The route is easy and suitable for those who want to cycle without particular technical difficulties. You can travel independently or in a group, always with support and technical assistance provided by the agency throughout the entire route. On group trips, you may share the experience with people from different cultures. For bike tours, some participants might use e-bikes while others use traditional bikes. Appropriate sportswear for the season, comfortable and non-slip shoes are required. Bring a light backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and a snack. The tour is organized by carefully selected local guides and operators to offer you the best possible experience.
Remember to bring a valid identity document (ID card or passport) with at least 6 months’ validity remaining. The itinerary may undergo minor changes before and/or during the trip depending on local conditions.
