Arrival in London and transfer to the wonderful Scottish Highlands by night train. 

Begin your trek in the Scottish Highlands, conquering two of Scotland's highest peaks. Enjoy breathtaking views along the way and spot deer, and if you're lucky, the majestic golden eagles, the symbol of the park. End your day camping under the stars, immersed in the natural beauty of the Highlands. Camp dinner and overnight stay in a tent.

An exciting day of downhill trekking, featuring a breathtaking change of scenery. We will traverse a primeval Scots pine forest that will lead us to a magnificent camping location. Weather permitting, we will have the opportunity to refresh ourselves and take a dip in the stream, fully immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Camp dinner and overnight stay in a tent.

After a brief return to civilization, we will cross Braemar, one of the historic villages of the Highlands. Without stopping, we will once again immerse ourselves in the breathtaking landscape of the Highlands, surrounded by arctic vegetation and groups of grouse. We will end the day camping near a cottage that was once frequented by Prince Charles, in a charming natural setting. Camp dinner and overnight stay in a tent.

We venture into the wildest part of the Scottish Highlands. Today, we will scale several rounded peaks shaped by glaciers, providing opportunities to spot arctic hares if we remain quiet. We will set up camp in a unique and special location that we will keep as a surprise, immersed in the unspoiled beauty of Scottish nature. Camp dinner and overnight stay in a tent.

We have a flat and relaxing route ahead as we slowly make our way out of Cairngorms National Park. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to visit the fascinating ruins of a castle, steeped in Scottish history. We will conclude the day in the picturesque village of Ballater, where we will stay for two nights, exploring the local culture and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding nature. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in a tent.

Get ready for a day entirely dedicated to the Highland Games! From morning to evening, we will celebrate by participating in the most ancient and iconic Scottish games. We'll witness spectacular caber tossing, whisky tastings, bagpipe parades, and massive stone throws. Additionally, for the more adventurous, there will be an opportunity to test your skills: you can sign up for the mountain running competition and challenge the Highlanders! An unforgettable experience at the heart of Scottish tradition. Dinner on your own and overnight stay in a tent.

We leave the beautiful Scottish Highlands with a bus transfer to Aberdeen. Here, we board the night train to London, an opportunity to relax and reflect on the adventures experienced during the trip.

After an unforgettable adventure in Scotland, it’s time to head back home. We depart from London on our flight back to Italy, taking with us the memories and experiences gained during this extraordinary journey through the Highlands. End of services.

Must-Know Details

By Plane: London Airport

Open to adult travelers with some training, subject to an interview with the Guides. You will travel in a group, with full support from the agency and accompanied by 2 Environmental Hiking Guides. During a group holiday, you may meet people from different countries with customs different from your own. Respect everyone's space and have fun. The tour is organized by local Guides and Operators, carefully selected for you.
Remember to bring a passport with an expiration date of at least 6 months from the departure date. The itinerary may be subject to changes before and/or during the trip. On a group trip and in some particular villages, it may be necessary to have scattered accommodation due to the lack of large facilities. You will have a kit with a stove and pot available for cooking your dinner. We will advise you on what to buy, taking any dietary intolerances into account. Tourist taxes are to be paid on site. An additional €250 for the shared expenses will be added to the price.
