An Adventure in the Sibillini Mountains

We begin our adventure with a warm welcome in Norcia. We will meet on Thursday evening at 5:30 PM for a brief introduction, after which we will head to the accommodation that will host us for the entire stay. During the trip, we will use a shuttle for transportation to the excursions. The evening will conclude with a traditional dinner and an overnight stay.

The day will begin with a hearty breakfast before setting off for an exciting hike in the Sibillini Mountains. With backpacks ready, we will head toward the summit of Monte Argentella, following a fascinating loop trail within the Sibillini Mountains National Park. We will cross the ancient imperial transhumance route and stop at the Capanna Ghezzi shepherds' refuge. Continuing through rolling hills, the view of the Pian Grande will be spectacular. Upon reaching Monte Argentella (2,201 meters), we will be rewarded with an extraordinary panorama. After enjoying a packed lunch with a view, we will continue toward Cima Palazzo Borghese (2,145 meters) and pass through a natural "gateway" leading us to Castelluccio di Norcia. At the end of the hike, we will take the shuttle back to Norcia, where you will have some free time to explore the town. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we’ll prepare for the most challenging hike: the conquest of Mount Vettore, the highest peak of the Sibillini Mountains (2,476 meters). We’ll follow a trail that will offer us pristine landscapes. During the hike, we’ll stop at the Tito Zilioli Refuge for a picnic with a view. Once we reach the summit, we’ll be rewarded with a 360-degree view of the Sibillini Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. After this extraordinary adventure, we’ll take a shuttle back to Norcia, where we’ll have some free time to relax before dinner. The evening will conclude with a traditional dinner and overnight stay.

The last day will begin with breakfast, and we’ll prepare for an exciting rafting experience on the Corno River. We’ll tackle the rapids and calmer stretches, surrounded by the wild and unspoiled nature of the Valnerina. During the rafting, we’ll admire the stunning Biselli Gorges, making the experience even more captivating. At the end, we’ll return to Norcia for the final farewells. End of services.
