More information regarding the time and meeting point for the first/last day will be provided after the booking.
The activity starts at 6:00 PM with a meeting point at Piazza Benedetto Croce 1, near the Francavilla al Mare train station. Here, a certified instructor will introduce you to the basics of SUP, covering correct posture and the best paddling techniques to ensure safety and fun. After a brief 15-minute briefing, we’ll move to the beach to begin the SUP excursion, which covers approximately 2.5 km between the Pier and the new Marina Bridge, depending on weather and sea conditions. The navigation is calm and designed to let you fully appreciate the warm colors of the sunset as the sun reflects on the sea. About halfway through, there will be a 10-minute break to relax and enjoy the scenery before returning to the starting beach.

Our Happy SUP Sunset tour offers you the chance to discover Stand Up Paddleboarding, a fun and accessible sport that combines elements of surfing and canoeing. You’ll set off with an expert instructor, gently paddling from the Pier to the new Marina Bridge. Along the way, you’ll admire the sun slowly dipping below the horizon, painting the sky and sea with warm shades of orange and gold. A short break halfway through will give you time to relax and fully enjoy this magical atmosphere.
This activity is perfect for anyone eager to try something new, from beginners to enthusiasts, and is ideal for families with children aged 12 and up (minors require parental authorization). The only requirement is to be able to swim, but the route stays in shallow waters close to the shore.

Open to participants aged 12 and up. You will paddle independently on your SUP board or as part of a group, always with the support of the instructor. During the excursion, you may meet people with different levels of experience. Respect everyone’s pace and space, and enjoy the sunset over the sea. The activity is organized by local instructors and operators carefully selected to offer you a safe and authentic experience. Remember to bring a hat, a beach towel, and a change of clothes if needed.
Remember to bring a valid ID (identity card or passport) with an expiration date at least 6 months after the date of the excursion. The itinerary may change based on weather and sea conditions before or during the activity. During the group excursion, it may be necessary to adapt to different paces and follow the guide’s instructions to ensure everyone’s safety.
